Antonio Banderas - "The Missing Lynx" seeks its way to the Oscar

The Spanish animation movie "The Missing Lynx" is nominated to compete for the Oscar in 2010 after submitting the documentation required before completion of the period opened yesterday by the Academy of Hollywood.
The film, produced by Antonio Banderas and directed by Raul Garcia, opened in Los Angeles on Friday and will be in theaters for a week, minimum time required for possible selection from nominations for the statuettes.

"The Missing Lynx" was awarded by the Spanish Film Academy in 2009 with the Goya award for best animated movie of the year after its national premiere in December 2008.
On Friday it will release the final number of animated films selected to enter the voting process for the next Oscar ceremony to be held on 7 March 2010.
