Antonio Banderas Movies: 'The Big Bang': "In 27 hours I'm gunna find something that theoretically should exist, but no one has ever seen." Damn this looks crazy, but pretty damn cool. Today's indie trailer via Apple is for a stylized indie drama called The Big Bang, starring the one-and-only Antonio Banderas, who looks to finally be getting back into some badass action.
This film has quite the cast - in addition to Banderas, it features: William Fichtner, Sienna Guillory, Sam Elliott, Thomas Kretschmann, Delroy Lindo, James Van Der Beek, Autumn Reeser and hell, even Snoop Dogg! I've barely heard of this, but it looks damn good and I highly suggest watching the trailer.
The search for the ultimate missing person ends... at the beginning of time. A private detective (Banderas) is hired to find a missing stripper. A simple job gets complicated when everyone he questions ends up dead.
The Big Bang is directed by producer-turned-director Tony Krantz, whose feature debuted was the 2008 horror comedy Otis. The screenplay was written by Emmy winner Erik Jendresen, of a few episodes of "Band of Brothers" and Otis previously. This hasn't played at any film festivals or otherwise, but Anchor Bay Films will be bringing The Big Bang to very limited theaters starting May 13th in the summer. Anyone intrigued?
